Dear Church Family,
The season of Advent is a time of anticipation, a time when we wait with hopeful hearts for the coming of the Christ Child. For our music ministry, this season has also been one of joyful preparation. For the past several months, the dedicated members of our Christmas Cantata Choir have been working faithfully to learn and polish the music for this year’s Christmas Cantata, A Journey to Joy by Joseph Martin. We warmly invite you to join us for this special morning of worship on Sunday, December 14th at 11:00 am. A tremendous musical work by our choir and instrumentalists, this cantata is truly a celebration of the season! The music offers fresh, vibrant melodies that provide a unique twist on the Christmas story, paired with the beloved, familiar carols we hold dear that will bring in the congregation in participation as well. In a season that can often feel rushed or overwhelming, we pray that this hour of music offers you a place of peace. We hope it serves as a moment to pause, to breathe, and to let the message of the music enrich your spirit as we draw closer to Christmas.
